I went to the GP about worsening shoulder pain that started after I overdid it one day at the gym. Dr. Chandan almost immediately identified it as a shoulder impingement, a condition I had not heard of. He offered 2 choices- a steroid injection or physiotherapy. I decided to go with the physio, which he said should be in a few weeks. 6 weeks later I finally received a call to set up a physio appointment - in another 6 weeks! This long delay was not Dr. Chandan's fault in any way, but I decided to see him again and ask for the injection. A couple of days later, he administered it, quickly and almost painlessly. Two days later I'm still waiting to feel the real benefit but it does seem to have some effect. I was very happy with the doctor's manner and professionalism. Hopefully I'll soon have reason to be happy with the treatment itself.

When I went to the surgery for the first time I saw Dr. Chandan. I found him very helpfull and caring. I mentioned about having Carpal Tunnel in both hands and he said that there is an injection available now. He did say that it does not work on everybody but I was willing to give it a try. To me it was an option worth trying as I was very reluctant to have the operations. So far I have found a big improvement in my hands, I still get numbness and pins and needles in my fingers now and again but nothing like I used to. Before as soon as I was trying to do anything, like needle work or reading etc. with my hands I would get either numbness or pins and needles in my fingers which was extremely frustrating.

Dr Chandan has helped me a great deal with my alcohol problem. He showed great understanding and empathy without being judgemental. With his help and guidance I am now conquering my addiction. What I like about him is that he sees me on a regular basis and I feel totally at ease with him. I cannot praise him highly enough.
